Subject: Just A Baby? (Bailey-->Blaine) Sat Mar 17, 2012 11:18 am

OOC: Marina, this is the thread where we will post until Bailey gets out of the hospital. Then I will make a new thread. =]

She, by request of the doctor, was walking a short distance up and down a hallway in the hospital. Her breathing was a bit quicker than normal. "Is this really necessary?! I'm pregnant, my water broke, do you really think I feel like walking??" She snapped, her hormones in an awful state.

The nurse looked frightened. Bailey had been vicious ever since she went into labor. "Yes, Miss Lane. It helps to induce labor more quickly."

She sighed, but kept walking. A few minutes later she stopped and let out a yelp of pain. "Ow!" She gasped. She looked at Blaine helplessly. The young girl didn't have a clue what to do.

The nurse came to her side. "Come, you need to lay down. That was your first contraction. No need to worry." She help Bailey lay down and tried to get her comfortable.

Blaine sighed and held Bailey's hand. "Its alright sweetheart. Just lay back and relax."

Bailey held onto Blaine's hand tightly. "Ok..." She nodded, and took a deep breath. "I love you." Reaching her hand that wasn't holding his, up to run it lightly through Blaine's hair, was comforting to her. "Are you ok?" It was only other people that she was vicious to. She was sweet to Blaine. He had a feeling of home, and he was her light in the darkness of the outside world.

The lack of communication from Blaine didn't help to comfort her. Bailey just relaxed, letting herself nearly fall asleep, and another contraction would hit. She bit her lip but didn't even gasp of anything. Her hand rested on her stomach. "Hopefully you won't give me too much trouble." She whispered and smiled. Referring to the twin babies inside of her. She looked at Blaine. "Are you excited?"

Blaine smiled. "Of course I am." He kissed her forehead and squeezed her head lightky.

Bailey smiled. All of the stress had gone away, and she was lightly rubbing her stomach. "Me too. Twins.... A boy and a girl."

Blaine smiled again and kissed her forhead again, his hand on her stomach as well.

Bailey smiled as she felt a kick. She took a sip of the apple juice a nurse had brought in.

Blaine sighed and sat on the bed next to her. He sighed again and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Want any?" She offered him, holding out the glass. Bailey had completely relaxed, since stress wasn't good for this situation. So she tried to act normal, as if this were any other day.

Bailey smiled.

The nurse came in carrying a clipboard. "I'm sorry, but Dr. Ryan is not permitting me to give you any pills." She told Bailey. "The side effects are risky. However, if the pain gets worse I can use 'laughing gas'. It's a Muggle method."

Bailey nodded. "It's alright. Thank you."

Blaine sighed again and lay on the bed with Bailey. "Urgh I'm so tired."

Blaine nodded and closed his eyes, falling asleep quickly.

Bailey hadn't been asleep for a while before she was woken up by a contraction. She bit her lip but kept quiet so she wouldn't wake Blaine.

Blaine was still sleepin hard, snoring. He turned slightly then went back to snoring.

Bailey giggled a little when Blaine snored, and couldn't help but smile. She kept her around him so he wouldn't fall.

Blaine yawned in his sleep. He turned again and sighed.

Bailey just let him sleep, stroking his hair. She started to fall asleep too.

Blaine got cold and grabbed the balnkets, wrapping up in them, leaving none for Bailey.
